How It Works
The DYN-200A uses positive displacement gear flow measurement: fluid enters through the inlet, where meshing gears trap a known volume between the gear teeth and the meter body. Each rotation displaces a fixed volume. A pulse output or mechanical register counts rotations to provide accurate total volume and flow rate. The design is built around the proven PA200 pump geometry for reliable, consistent measurement.

Why Positive Displacement?
Unlike turbine or electromagnetic flow meters, positive displacement meters measure actual volume independent of flow profile, making them ideal for viscous fluids. No straight-pipe inlet requirements. No conductivity requirements. The 2" size handles medium-flow industrial applications up to approximately 69 GPM (based on the PA200 platform at 190 RPM).
Pump-Meter Integration
The DYN-200A shares the PA200 pump body design, so when paired with a PA200S or PA200C pump, both components share the same port size, mounting, and flow characteristics. This simplifies system design and ensures the meter's operating range matches the pump's output. The pulse output enables electronic totalizers or PLC integration for real-time volume tracking and batch control.
